Every piece of the wood is weighed, measured and sorted by density and weight, and based on the given figures, the appropriate thickness of the skin is customized to make this erhu. In python skin erhu, this has to be dictated by chance and luck, but for this model, no longer. We are able to calculated the exact optimal resonance of the entire instrument body and produce the ideal erhu membrane for its maximum performance and sensitivity.
If we listen carefully to its timbre, its unmistakable that the sweet tone of the Sandalwood is produced, along with the mellow low resonance required.
